Update 27 and repost of Update 10

Sorry for the delay boys, now have at it.

Blood dripped from Garrus’s nose as he stood up, leaving a few dots of it in the snow.  What had been a shaky necessity of a relationship moments ago, was now nothing.  Tesla could go burn in hell for all he cared, though the fact she had the knife and there were creatures out here that would likely devour him whole…that left him questioning his actions from before.  Still unclear how much time they had lost due to the encounter with the Vorshilder, Garrus heaved once before pulling himself out of the snow.  “So, we’ve got no heading, no idea where these plants could be growing and the only thing we have to show for our last venture were red marks across our faces and you getting off to beating me senseless.  Wonderful.”

Tesla glared in response to the pilot’s words, getting up to her feet before brushing some snow off of her ass and knees.  Looking into the distance where Garrus’s eyes were pointed, she merely held up her arm and pointed in that direction.  “There were the dosrochire plants growing over there.  I suppose that would be as good a place as any to start our search.”  Staring him down, she watched his progress through the snow.  Every step was unsteady as he tried to find the most solid path to maneuver through the ever thickening slush.  Sweeping her hands together in satisfaction, she began to put some distance between herself and him.  “Keep up Pilot, I’m not going to wait for you or caudle you anymore.  If you are man enough to attack me, you’re man enough to make this trek on your own.”

At her statement, Garrus’s eye twitched as he fought his anger back with every fiber of his being.  One particularly hard misstep sent his foot deep into snow.  Toppling over as he went to take his next step, he clawed at the sheets of white beneath him like an animal.  Moving on all fours and constantly trying to break the grounds hold on him, he found no purchase anywhere.  Every movement sent more snow flying up around him, the powder shooting up like a geyser before cascading back down on him.  His entire body was caked in the stuff before he finally righted him.  Tesla found nothing amusing about the situation; rather, she stood with her hands on her hips and watched the scene with her head cocked to the side.  “What are you looking at?”  Garrus asked spitting onto the ground as he came up about three meters away from her.

Her steps came toward him in measured presses in the snow, it was intoxicating, but Garrus shivered in fear as he saw it.  Tesla wasn’t just a worry or a comrade in his eyes anymore, she held his life in her hands and could easily snuff it out at any time she wished.  Going to one knee just in front of Garrus, she put her hand on one of his cheeks and slapped him.  There wasn’t nearly as much strength beyond it as there could have been, causing the foul-mouthed man to look up at her confused.  “For someone so intelligent and well-versed, you’re an idiot.  I took your challenge as I would take any challenge on my home-world.  You challenged for the privilege to mate with me, the most sacred rites of my people.  Even if you did not do it formally, you should have known better.”

“I am no Keh’lia!  I have not been trained to fight as any of your race.  I did not go through any of your rituals.  In your cultures eyes I have no right to present that challenge towards you!”  Garrus sputtered back her, grasping his knees as he looked down.  Anyone who might have been watching would be reminded of a mother scolding an adolescent son.  Shame clearly etched onto the pilot’s face as he grasped at his knees.

“Still, you tried, so much like any other member of my culture.  I beat you down for your insolence.  Be glad I wasn’t like some of the other members of my people and took you as an ass slave.  I’m sure you wouldn’t want to take one of the ceremonial Isefa’s.”  Tesla visibly noticed him swallowing before standing up and offering her a hand in getting up.  “Make no mistake youngling, I don’t like you.  You’re an arrogant piece of shit in my book, if you had made that fight worthwhile I might be treating you with more respect.  For now though, you’re just another human who doesn’t know how to fight or know how to handle their lusts.  A rather stupid human I might add.”  Turning her head back towards the field of Dosrochire flowers, she started walking towards them while cracking her knuckles.

“You know I’m going to get you back for all of this right?”  Garrus responded finally as he walked slowly behind her, not wanting to repeat his earlier performance of thrashing about in the snow.  Seeing the Yor’zvin stop and turn her head back to him, he continued to speak.  “I suppose that is one thing that humans have over your race and every other.  We never know when to quit.”  Chuckling as he wiped his nose, getting the last trickle of blood that had stuffed his nose, he watched the corners of her mouth lift.  Soon, she graced him with a smile.

“Looking forward to it, just gives me another excuse to beat your face in.”  Rolling her eyes at the statement, the pair continued to walk along, Garrus putting his hands into his pockets as his own smile faded.  Soon his thoughts were running with how exactly to get payback on her.  Glaring at the back of her head, he pondered what was something that she truly held dear that he could take from her?  Having only known her for a day, there was little he could think of it.  It would require careful thinking and plotting, but his vengeance would be all that much sweeter for it.

He knew there would be tension between him and everyone in the crew now.  Not that he cared about it, this little disjointed family was only going to last him until he could find a way out.  Faulkner’s group most likely didn’t have enough influence to chase the four down throughout the entire galaxy; in fact, they probably believed them to be dead.  So really, this facade was nothing more than a method for him to survive in this frozen wasteland until he got a ship.  Shrugging his shoulders, the Pilot shot Tesla’s back a malicious grin.  “Oh you can bet I’ll get you back.”  He whispered before falling in line behind, but constantly had to struggle to keep up.
It took another twenty minutes, with Garrus nearly losing sight of Tesla twice, but they finally made it into the massive field of Dosrochire plants.  Each herb creating light around them as their bodies could both feel the heat coming off of the plants.  Feeling slightly relaxed, Garrus let himself wander through the field of flowers, looking for anything that might fit Lily’s description of a medicinal plant they could use.  Looking down at the little note she had given him, he called out to Tesla.  “Hey! Try to find something with wide leaves, that’s about all this note says.  Well, at least that I think is useful.  The description matches an Earth plant, so I have no idea what we should be looking for out here!”

The shout reached Tesla’s ears who turned her head back and nodded, replying with an ok before the pair went about searching separate regions of the field.  Already the ship was out of view as they looked through flower after flower.  Garrus stared out through what seemed like an infinite display of the things before clutching his hands together.   “Fucking bastard Swabbie, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be in this fucking mess.  The bastard couldn’t have just gone and died when we were on the ship, I could have been home free with two bitches to sell on the market.  Hell, I could have been raped Lily’s ass and put a muzzle on Tesla, but no…fucking moral oral had to rear his ugly head.”  Resentment burned in his eyes as he muttered to himself and shifted over a few more flowers.

“They all look the fucking same!”  Garrus finally shouted kicking at one of the flowers as snow went flying away.  Looking down where he kicked, he noticed a wide leaf jetting out of the snow.   “What the hell?”   Examining it further, he began to brush all the snow away and found a cabbage sized herb completely buried in the snow.  Each leaf colored a bright purple and accented with blue veins, rubbing his fingers over it, he wondered if this could be one.  A sudden realization hit him as he pulled up the underside of the plant and noticed a small colony of mushrooms using the herb as its host.  Penicillin is derived from fungi, not plants.  “Huh….I wonder if she knew mushrooms grew under these plants and told us to look for it on that chance….or if she was thinking of something else?”

Not really wanting to process it any more than necessary.  Garrus grasped the cabbage shaped plant by the base and yanked up.  Grunting and grasping as it finally shot up; however, the damn thing felt like it weighed a ton in his hands.  The effects of gravity on the herb making his entire body scream in agony at him before setting it down.  Grumbling he resorted to calling Tesla as he panted, pondering about how much he needed to get in shape.  “Hey…I can’t really lift this thing up, you mind helping me carry it back to the ship?”  The female only lifted the leafy object in response and carried it away, leaving Garrus standing there stupefied by her feat.

“Yeah…I’m definitely going to get you back for all of this you bitch.”  He swore under his breath as they made the trek back to the ship.  Upon arrival, Nathan was still lying in bed, the infection looking better though still terrible by most standards.  At best the wounds could be said to look like an over-ripened tomato, at worst, like someone had just whacked a hole into a zombie.  Garrus felt slightly queasy just looking at it, while Tesla completely ignored Nathan to set the plant they had gathered onto one of the counters.  Lily didn’t bother to spend any time with small talk, rather she instantly followed Tesla to the plant and began scrapping off the fungi growing on the underside.

“Hmm…these are good samples of Penicillium Regalia good work.”  She commented as she moved through the medicine box and removed a hypodermic needle.  Casually laying it aside as she popped open the heads of each mushroom and let a clear liquid pour into cup.  After repeating this process about fifty times, Lily poured the liquid through a filtration system letting it collect into a small canister at the bottom.  Afterwards, Lily let the needle draw in as much of the liquid as she could filling it about half way before walking over to Nathan.   Rubbing his head gingerly, she found his wrist and let the needle slip into the vein there.  The injection was mercifully short, leaving Lily with a small smile before moving away from the man they called Captain.  “He should be fine now with a little rest.  I have enough mushrooms left over on the plant in there to inject him another three times if anything goes wrong.  Good work, but all we can do is wait for him.”

“Yeah, yeah.  Medicine and healing and all that jazz.  I’m getting a shower and going to sleep.  The sooner this day is over, the better.”  Garrus replied throwing up his hands aggravated and no longer wishing to deal with anyone on the ship until Nathan was out of that bed.  Retreating into the confines of the shower, the Pilot merely leaned against the wall after stripping down.  Hot water came pouring down over his frame as he began to plot.

Meanwhile, Tesla and Lily sat down at the table in the sleeping area.  The pair both held cups of coffee that Lily had brewed for them, each staring quietly at the other.  Neither wanted to say anything first, Tesla having lost the thickness of the torn coat was now sitting with her ample chest pushing against the fabric of a grey tee-shirt.  Over a sip of coffee, Tesla looked back up at Lily pondering what to say or if there was anything to say.  Finally, she decided to break the tension and speak.  “So…how was the alone time with him?”  She had meant it as a joke; however, the moment she saw Lily’s eyes expand, her own eyebrow shot up.

“Umm…it was fine, you know I just took care of him.  We had a little discussion about things and he slept through most of it.”  Lily retorted quickly, trying to keep up a good poker face before Tesla gave her a catty smile.

“Oh Lily, I may not know much about humans or other races, but if there is one thing I know how to do, it is how to tell if someone is lying.  You’re a bad liar, so why don’t you tell me exactly what happened while I was gone.  If you tell me that our dear Captain took you from behind and made you his bitch, then I’m going to be jealous.”  She teased her, Yor’zvin culture allowed for as many mates as possible, so in Tesla’s eyes this new event was a sign that Nathan was receptive to women.  Giggling excitedly before she grasped Lily’s hand and tugged them up, her eyes glowing in spectacular fashion before she clasped them together.  “Come on, don’t leave me in suspense!  Tell me everything, what does it look like?  How good is he?”

“WOAH!  Calm down!  Do I look like the kind of girl that kisses and tells?”  Lily stammered out, her face burning a brighter red than a cherry as she looked away quickly.  Still feeling shy and insecure about Tesla’s presence, she slightly appreciated the interest and the attempt to be friendly, but it was just a step too far in her taste.  Looking back at her though, she just couldn’t say no to Tesla, she looked too much like an excitable puppy trying to get a treat.  “Ok, ok…I’ll tell you everything.  Just…umm…oh hell…you probably wouldn’t keep it to yourself even if I didn’t tell you anything.”

Loosening up, Lily let out a laugh before she squirmed her hands out of Tesla and sipped her coffee lightly.  “We didn’t actually do what you’re thinking about Tesla.  He certainly didn’t turn me around and make me his bitch.  We got to talking while I was changing his bandages, he’s sweet, which is a rare thing to see these days.  I couldn’t help myself…I made up an excuse to umm…help myself to his nether regions.”

“Wait…so you didn’t partake in actual intercourse?  Ohh….you performed Ashi’ve’al on him.  You lucky woman, on Yor’zvin that position is only given to the woman who holds the highest place in a man’s heart.  It means that he treats you handle his precious pride with your mouth.”  Tesla’s eyes were still glistening with excitement, but there was some minor disappointment there, she seemed to be conceding she would be a second to Lily.

“It isn’t quite like that with human culture.  It is still a sign of affection, but I think we don’t put any stigma to it.  Oral sex…is just well oral sex…something to stimulate for the real thing later.”  Lily said looking down, wanting to lie to Tesla so maybe she’d back down from Nathan, but she knew the alien would be able to tell if she did.

“Oh…so there is nothing to it then?  Just something anyone can do to anyone when they are in the mood?  The customs on Earth are so strange.  At her words Nathan turned over slightly, groggily twisting upwards as he stepped out of the bed.  His steps were still shaky, but he seemed to have completely forgotten where he was.  Smiling the brewing coffee, he walked towards Lily and Tesla, his morning wood showing plainly through the navy blue boxer brief as he picked up one of their cups and drank slowly mumbling to himself.

“Thanks ma.”  Setting the cup down and moving away from the pair, he entered the bathroom.  Ignoring the fact that Garrus was still drying off in the room, or rather didn’t notice him, he stripped down stepping into the shower and began to wash himself.  The pilot meanwhile departed, grabbing his clothing to wash out elsewhere and walking out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

“This day really can’t end fast enough.  If anyone needs me, I’m going to be bleaching my eyes along with my clothing.”  Huffing twice, Garrus shot past the pair and into the kitchen where the sound of water pouring into the sink was heard.  Both blinked a few times, but said nothing as there was nothing they could do about it now.  Lily instead sighed, shaking her head once before laughing and gripping her cup of coffee tighter in her hand.

“It’s like we’re living with children isn’t it?  Oh well…where was I?”  She continued to explain what had happened while she and Nathan were alone.  Tesla seemed to be a captive audience, which pleasantly surprised the nurse, especially with the pleased look in Tesla’s eyes when she described Nathan grabbing her head and thrusting into her mouth.

“So he likes to be a little rough and take control does he?  Hmm…Lily what do you say about sharing him when he gets out of the shower.  We can bandage him up again and be gentle enough, that and I’m sure he’ll know the code to lock the kitchen door so Garrus can’t interfere with us.”  That same puppy dog look came into her eyes, but Lily wasn’t sure what to say.  Gulping she was appalled by the idea of having another person in on a session of sex, but she also found it appealing at the same time.  Maybe it was because someone could show her the ropes as she had never gone all the way before.  Still, her shyness took control and she didn’t give a straight answer.

“Why don’t we ask him when he gets out?  I don’t want to bother him if he isn’t feeling up to it.”  Tesla only nodded happily when, as if on cue, their Captain appeared out from the shower.  Dressed in only his pants, he looked down at the pair with his eyebrow raised and noticed the Cheshire Cat-like expression on Tesla’s face.

‘What…why are you looking at me like that?”

“Oh just never pegged you for the kind of guy to let a woman lead.  So Lily and I were talking Captain….would you like to fuck both of us right now?  Garrus is in the kitchen and can easily be locked out.  Lily says the option is completely up to you, but I’m all for it.  So what do you say?”
