The Universe of Amatory Stars....an infinitely expanding plane of existence where anything and anyone could become whatever they wish. In this place, one can experience an infinite amount of luck or they could suffer the ultimate loss. This place is both paradise for some and hell for others. Currently, the Universe of Amatory Stars consists of twenty-six planets and several space colonies, working with and against each other to further their own desires; however, not all is well in this place and just like any location, it is marred by greed, selfishness and the envy of others.
Before I take this any further, I should give credit to the creators of Broken Heart Bordello,Smersh and Akabur, for giving me the idea to start this. For those of you who don't know, or don't have access to a dictionary, Amatory means erotic, loving and sexual, so make no mistake, this is an ADULT BLOG. If you are under eighteen or twenty-one depending on your location, please leave. Now then, I know that is going to be ignored; however, I am still obligated by law to provide that. Anyway, while the opening may of made you believe that this is some sort of roleplaying site, I'm going to inform you now that it is not; Amatory Stars is a interactive story or in layman's terms, a choose your own adventure. Here's the twist to this, everything is going to be voted on by all the readers while the story itself is specifically written by me. As the introduction is now complete for this, I will proceed with the rules for this site.
Rule 1#: Respect everyone and no flaming!
Alright, this is a must and it has to be said first and foremost in all things. YOU will respect the thoughts and opinions of your fellow members of this site. Intelligent debates are fine, but insulting another person or spiting their ideals, religion or political ideals are not; this will not be tolerated in any degree. You'll get ONE warning, ONE that's all you'll be getting. After the first one, you will be either suspended or banned depending on the severity of the actions.
Rule 2#: You don't comment, you don't get a say in the story.
You all might have heard of the whole if you don't vote, you have no say in politics, well the same is true of this site. I take all of my readers comments and suggestions very seriously and contemplate on all of them; if you have an idea on how to make this site better, I am more than willing to do what I have to. ((Before anyone says get images, I currently do not have the necessary income to procure pictures for what I have planned. I apologize for this advance, but its just a simple fact.)) Otherwise, I will do whatever it takes to make sure my readers are happy with whats going on, but I need feedback. All you need to do is wait for an update to occur, then leave comments down at the bottom of the page via the Intensedebate comment box. There you can leave input, your vote on what should happen next in the story or even debate with other members on the site about their votes. Remember, you can always change your vote, but you can't vote more than once.
Rule 3#: Luck
While this one might not make sense from the name you'll soon understand. Whenever an action comes up in the story for voting, there are different probabilities for good or bad actions to occur based upon said action. Of course, there are some ways to increase or decrease the odds depending on the situation, these are both obvious and subtle and some of them are completely secret and will only be known by me. Primarily though, gaining money is the best way to increase your luck and make sure the main character stays alive.

One of the aspects of these sites is sex and sex will be very prevalent, as it damn well should for something like this; however, one thing I want you guys to know about though, is that if you focus too much on sex, I will start making the odds worse and worse for the group, stacking it up to the point where the group can easily get screwed over rapidly. So here is the thing, keep an open mind and think logically about every outcome, otherwise, you're going to end up getting yourself into a load of trouble. Vice versa is true, if sex becomes something that is removed from the story in favor of a more business like setting, I'll start pushing it into the story; however, I sincerely doubt that will be the case.

Alright, everyone is only allowed one vote...that's it. Not once a day during the voting period, or once per account they make, no you get ONE VOTE. This allows me to keep track of visitors and whom I'm actually communicating with on this story. Seeing as I'm going to be writing it, I want those voting to be highly involved in decisions, the process and everything else that goes on.
